Hi, I'm Adam Taylor. I have over a decade of experience as a game designer, writer and gamemaster.
Gamemaster for Hire
I regularly run games at conventions around the UK, I work as a GM for organised-play companies, I run pay-to-play events in my local area, and I'm available for hire for private events.
I'm always happy to run the games that people want to play; if you're looking for some fantasy dungeon-crawling, then I have a lot of practice running D&D at all levels of experience
That said, I do strive to give people the opportunity to play lesser known or more unusual RPGs.
If you're looking for something different, I can provide a game tailored to your requirements: space-opera, 80s action-flick, grimy cyberpunk, progressive community-building, supernatural investigations, piratical action, superheroes, mythological adventures...
Just about any kind of game that you're looking for, I can run - either with an existing system, or something custom-made just for you.

Game Designer
I've been designing games and running them for friends for many years. The first - Peacekeepers - is being published by Stone Fable / Precipice, following a successful Kickstarter campaign in March 2026.
I have several other systems in the pipeline which I hope to publish over the next few years.
Peacekeepers
A story-driven game of crime fighting capers in a fantasy city.
Players take on the role of the city guard in a fantasy city, either one entirely of your own imagining or one building on the setting detailed in the book, the magical college city of Arcanopolis.
Peacekeepers uses an original, character-driven dicepool mechanic; a single system which covers all types of player actions. It encourages a creative, player-led approach to investigations while supporting the GM in presenting a dynamic, evolving situation, and a satisfying conclusion.
Worlds in Your Hands
By way of an example of my work, Worlds in Your Hands is a two page game of improvised world-building. It's primarily a two-player game, though also works at higher player counts.
A game takes thirty to sixty minutes, requires no preparation, and you'll need only the rules and a standard deck of playing cards to play.
Copywriting
I am happy to take on commisions large or small and can turn my hand to writing for just about any style. I enjoy games from trad. to OSR to indie, and all points in between.
I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing, so I am familiar with and able to adopt a wide range of styles, voices and genres.
I have, so far, provided copy for Gallows Corner by Three Sails Studio, and scenarios for Moonshine Adventures.
